Francesca Diomede is presently Research fellow at the Department of Medical, Oral and Biotechnological Sciences, University “G. d’Annunzio”, Italy. She is Doctor in Dental Surgery at University “G. d’Annunzio”, Italy. She completed PhD in Applied and Basic Medical Sciences from University “G. d’Annunzio”, Italy.
Francesca Diomede published articles in many international journals and attended various meetings, conferences worldwide. She is also an author of book chapter. She serves as an Editorial board member for various international journals. She received scientific awards and is the member of many societies and group associations.
Francesca Diomede research interests include Study of molecular mechanisms and applied basic sciences to translation for human health, Mechanisms that regulate and leading the stem cells activity on tissue homeostasis and repair throughout the identification of intracellular pathway that regulate the regenerative potential, Regenerative medicine includes the stem cells differentiation, 3D scaffold evaluation, the design of novel living constructs and new approaches towards tissue regeneration and the use of stem cells in cell therapy, Self-renew ability and lineage selection by human mesenchymal stem cells from oral tissues, Stem cells modeling to use in neurodegenerative disorders, etc.
