Guidelines for serving as a peer reviewer for Scholarena journals and the advantages that come with the role.

Reviewer guidelines

  • Received manuscripts will be assigned to reviewers for the peer review process.
  • Reviewers should confirm that the assigned article falls within their expertise before agreeing to review.
  • Reviewers are encouraged to invite quality submissions from authors to the corresponding journal.
  • Study the complete article and identify merits and demerits with necessary corrections, to maintain quality publication.
  • Verify that the research paper fits within the scope of the journal.
  • The review process should be completed within 21 business days.
  • Contact the Editorial Board member promptly if you cannot finish the review within the given time.
  • Reviewers are not permitted to discuss the paper with the corresponding author.
  • Information in the assigned manuscript must not be used by the reviewer elsewhere.
  • Reviewers may recommend acceptance, correction, or rejection to the Editorial Board member.
  • The final decision on acceptance or rejection is made by the Editorial Board member.
