When your article is accepted for publication, further instructions will be provided via email by our Associate Managing Editor.

Submission stages

1. Submission — Manuscript uploaded; automated integrity checks.
2. Editor assignment — Handling editor confirms scope and assigns reviewers.
3. Peer review — Double-blind review by two or three subject experts.
4. Decision — Editor synthesises feedback and issues decision.
5. Revision & production — Copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration.
6. Publication — Live and indexed worldwide.
