K V Ramana is an Associate Professor of Microbiology at Prathima Inst. of Medical Sciences, India. He completed his Masters in Medical Microbiology from Faculty of Medicine, Manipal University in India, registered for PhD from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India and obtained PhD by publication from ASU (America). He is elected as Member (MAMS) of National Academy of Medical sciences (NAMS) for the year 2017. He is a Member of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (LM 1919) and Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) (AMI/LM-465/2013).
K V Ramana is also a member of Asian Council for Science Editors (ACSE) (2015). He Published 5 books. He presented and published more than 130 scientific research papers in National & International conferences and journals with more than 600 citations.
K V Ramana research interests include wide areas of Medical microbiology with special interest towards HIV research
