Dr. Hsien-Yuan Lane is currently working as Distinguished Professor & Director in the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences at China Medical University Medical College, Taiwan and Director in the Department of Psychiatry at China Medical University and Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan. He Obtained his Ph.D. from National Defense Medical College, Taipei. He was awarded with The International of College of Neuropsychopharmacology CINP CNS Drug Innovation Award. He is also serving as Deputy Superintendent, Sunshine Psychiatric Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan, Director of Addiction Research Center, China Medical University and Hospital, Taiwan, President of Taiwanese Society of Schizophrenia Research, Chair of Education Committee, Taiwanese Society of Psychiatry and Fellow, the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CINP).
Dr. Hsien-Yuan Lane is acting as an active member for several professional societies. He also serves as Editorial Board member and reviewer for various peer reviewed journals and has numerous publications.
Dr. Lane’s research interests include pharmacogenomics, neuropsychopharmacology, psychiatry, and cognitive neuroscience. His team has been devoted to translational studies and clinical trials, especially those on several NMDA-enhancing agents for treatment of mental disorders. Moreover, his team has been actively explored genetic and non-genetic determinants for phenotypes and treatment response of mental disorders.
