Dr. Mary Theresa Bonhage-Freund is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Alma College, Michigan, US. She received her Ph.D. in Anthropology at the Pennsylvania State University in 1997. She also worked as Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Wayne State University and as Instructor, Graduate Lecturer, Teaching Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. She received many honors, awards and grants. She authored several book chapters, peer reviewed articles. She is a member of many Professional Organizations.
Dr. Mary Theresa Bonhage-Freund’s research interest includes Paleoethnobotany and ethnobotany, especially Southeastern and Midwest North America with an emphasis on the Woodland through historic periods.
