Biography

Dr. Amber N. Gudgell is presently working as Forensic Science Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, US. She has a Masters in Forensic Science and a PhD in Public Service Leadership from Capella University and for the last 8 years has worked for the Plattsmouth Police Department and contracted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office as an Evidence Technician/CSI. She also worked as Forensic Science Adjunct Professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Dr. Amber N. Gudgell is a member of professional associations of Nebraska Association of Property and Evidence (NAPE), and International Association of Identification (IAI). She also has professional & academic presentations. Her research interest includes Quantitative studies associated with wellness and law enforcement communities, Stress among law enforcement and Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) among ranks, The continued CSI effect on victims.
