Prof. Chung-Yi Chen is presently working as a Dean and Professor at the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Fooyin University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan since 2007. He obtained his Ph.D. in Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan. President Chen was just over 45 years old, but his work has more than 220 papers. He was Taiwan’s one of the young talents. He has 20 years research experience on life-threatening diseases, including traditional Chinese medicine used for cancer research. President Chen specializes in isolation, purification and structural analysis of active components of plants and directed against active constituents of oral cancer, liver cancer, and rectal cancer. He was achieved numerous awards at home and abroad such as lifetime achievement award (2015), and also health care & biotechnology merit award (2016). Professor Chen was invited more than 170 kinds of Journal editorial boards.
Professor Chung-Yi Chen’s research background involves in the Pharmacognosy, Natural Products, Chinese Medicine, and Natural Product Research.
