Dr. Chaurasia is presently working as Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Bellarmine University, Louisville, KY, USA. She has more than 18 years of experience in teaching and researches globally. She received her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry (1997), MSc in Biochemistry (1993) and BSc in Chemistry (1991) from Banaras Hindu University, India. She is a member of many professional associations like American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), American Chemical Society (ACS) etc.
Dr. Chaurasia has published articles in various peer-reviewed journals. She has been mentoring many Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD degree students for their research work. She has participated in various international and national conferences and gave presentations. She serves as an Editorial board member and reviewer of many scholarly journals.
Dr. Savita Chaurasia research interest is in Natural product chemistry, Medicinal plants, Bio-activity guided fractionation, Drug development, In vitro Screening, In vivo Screening, Antioxidant, Antimutagenic, Anticancer drugs, Green nanoparticles, and Chemical Sensors.
