Dr. Ehesan Sharif is currently working as a Senior Scientist in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the Arcus Biosciences, Hayward, CA, United States. Prior to this, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at Stanford University, California in the group of Professor Barry M. Trost (2013-2015). He received his Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from Northeastern University, Boston, MA (2013). He received his M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry from University of Delhi (2006) and B.Sc. degree in 2004 from Cotton College, Guwahati, India. He also mentored undergraduate and master students during his doctoral and postdoctoral studies at Northeastern University and Stanford University. He has co-authored three patents and as well as published his research in several international journals. He also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several scientific journals.
Dr. Ehesan U Sharif’s research interest is in the Small molecule drug development, immuno-oncology, synthetic methodologies and total synthesis.
