Dr. Nadeem S. Sheikh is currently working as an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (2008) from University of Southampton, Southampton, United Kingdom. He completed his MSc degree in University of the Punjab and BSc in Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed EPSRC postdoctoral fellow (2008-2011) and worked in the enantioselective domain of organolithium chemistry in University of Sheffield, UK. He has received many awards including a gold medal and academic roll of honor during his graduate studies, the ORSAS award from Universities UK and the Wiley-VCH best poster presentation award at 9th ISCC in Italy. He has published articles in national and international journals and writes two book chapters. He is a Member of Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC), UK. He also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer of some scientific articles.
Dr. Nadeem S. Sheikh’s research interest is in Organic Chemistry, Sustainable Chemistry, Natural Products, Medicinal Chemistry, and Computational Chemistry.
