Dr. Marcello Nicoletti is presently working as a professor of Pharmaceutical Biology at Environmental Biology Department of the University Sapienza of Rome. He is teaching Plant Biology and Pharmaceutical Botany in the Courses of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine. Marcello Nicoletti graduated in Chemistry (1974) and in Industrial Chemistry (1976) at the University Sapienza of Rome, Italy. Later, he went on to complete a Post-doctorate at the University of Cambridge (England).
Dr. Marcello Nicoletti is the author of more than 300 papers in international scientific journals, of several books and chapters of special issues and books. Present duties include Course of Vegetal and Animal Biology, Course of CTF, Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine, University Sapienza of Rome and Course of Pharmaceutical Botany, Course of AFS, Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine, University Sapienza of Rome etc.
Dr. Marcello scientific interests include​ the utilization of advanced analytic techniques in solving biological problems, including environmental impact factors, and quality control of food supplements.
