Dr. Salem Youssef Mohamed is an assistant professor of internal medicine, in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit at the University of Zagazig, Egypt. He received his B.S and his M.D. From Zagazig University. He is a consultant physician at the teaching hospital of the same university. In addition to teaching, Dr. Salem is a regular reviewer for Afro-Egyptian Journal of Infection and Endemic Diseases, Gastroenterology and Hepatology from bed to bench, Gastroenterology and Hepatology research, A reviewer at NIH, Southampton, England, and a reviewer at Undergrad Awards Dublin, Ireland, International Journal of gastrointestinal cancer, and World Journal of Surgical Oncology. He is an editorial board member in Annals of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the journal of General surgery (ISSN: 2529-7732) and the Journal of Cancer Clinical Research.
Dr. Salem Youssef Mohamed’s research interests include Hepatobiliary malignancies, endocrinal gastrointestinal tumors, colorectal cancer, GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, etc.
