Dr. Salem Youssef Mohamed is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit) at Zagazig University, Egypt; He received his Doctorate degree in Internal Medicine from the Zagazig University of Egypt. He has attended and participated in many International Conferences and also received International Scholarship, UEG week 2015, Travel grant, best scientific abstracts, UEG week 2015 and other such awards for his works. He is a member of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and X member of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL). He has contributed several publications in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is also an editorial member for several international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Salem Youssef Mohamed’s research interests include Hepatobiliary malignancies, endocrinal gastrointestinal tumors, colorectal cancer, GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, etc.
