Sangeetha Surianarayanan received her PhD in Immunology from Technical University ofDresden, Germany. She is currently, a post-doctoral scholar working in Cancer Immunology at University of California, San Francisco, USA. During her PhD, she investigated the functional relevance of Interleukin-10 (IL-10) derived from different cell types in limiting various immune responses. She is currently investigating the role of genetic and environmental factors in the initiation and maintenance of leukemogenesis. She presented her findings in various conferences in Germany, UK and the USA.
