Dr Manal Mehibel obtained her Pharmacy degree from the University of Nottingham in the UK. After training as a clinical pharmacist, she received a scholarship to continue her graduate studies at the University of Manchester. She completed her PhD studies with the Experimental Oncology group at the School of Pharmacy on the role of nitric oxide on cancer progression and response to therapy in 2010. Her first postdoctoral training in Manchester focused on tumor metabolism and nanotherapy for cancer. Currently, she is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Stanford School of Medicine
Dr. Manal Mehibel research focuses on identifying resistance pathways to conventional chemotherapies and cancer immunotherapies.
