Dr. DV. Muralidhara is currently working as Professor and Head of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine at University Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore University, India. He also had the exposure to several training programs in teaching. The teaching included both theory and laboratory Physiology consisting of Human Physiology from General Principles to Nervous System through Blood, Cardio-respiratory, Renal, Gastrointestinal and Hormonal systems. The laboratory Physiology included teaching/demonstrating experiments in hematology, cardio-respiratory, muscle, and nervous systems including clinical examinations. He has nearly 100 publications in both National and International journals
Dr. DV. Muralidhara’s research interest includes expertise in energy balance studies in animal models, brown fat physiology, body composition in animals and humans.
