Rejeesh Menon is currently an Attending Physician at Department of Hospital Medicine Confluence Health, Washington, USA. He did his Residency in Internal Medicine from University of North Dakota. He had Post-doctoral research fellow in GI Physiology from University of Florida.
Rejeesh Menon published many articles in various national and international publications. He attended many international meetings, conferences etc. He has Volunteer work experience like Primary care physician at National Rural Health Mission, Government Primary Health center, Chinnakanal, Kerala, India, etc. He received many awards and recognitions for his works.
Rejeesh Menon research is focused on application physiology and molecular biology in the treatment of intestinal diseases and viral diseases. He is best known for my studies on intestinal physiology in cancer treatments and for formulating a selective amino acid-based compound, “Enterade” as treatment of acute gastrointestinal syndrome following cancer treatments. His other landmark study characterized the effects of glucose in intestinal transport and rotavirus induced diarrhea. His team also characterized clinical sequelae chikungunya viral infection and identified the best treatment options in chikungunya viral arthritis.
