He Liu completed his Ph.D. in department of zoology from the University of Texas at Austin. Presently he is working as a faculty member at Gannon University. He teaches introductory Molecular and Cellular Biology, Animal Physiology and lab, and Research Methods in Biology courses in the Biology Department. His research is on the environmental effects on and the molecular basis of animal physiology and behavior. He is working as a Chairperson Department of Biology, Gannon University. He is an active member of many University Committees and also raising funds through various resources for Biology research. He attended many international conferences and conducted national and international workshops.
