Prof. Valentina Divocha is currently working at the Lugansk State Medical University, Rubezhnoye, Ukraine, she is the supervisor of the nine research programs in virology and biochemistry. In 1967 she graduated from I. I. Mechnikov Odessa State University, Faculty of Biology (Department of Virology) and in 1973 continued her postgraduate study at Odessa Institute of Virology and Epidemiology (specialty virology). In 1974 she received her candidate degree with the thesis "Interaction of Coxsackie B viruses with sensitive cell cultures and their antigenic relationships." she was awarded her doctoral degree with the thesis entitled "Biological basis antiproteinase therapy of influenza" In 2009. She has scientific experience for 35 years. She has more than 190 scientific publications, 3 monographs, textbook "Virology" (2012), 10 patents and 4 innovations. She is a member of some international organizations such as Ministry of Health of Ukraine and also honored many awards. She is also an editorial board member of national and international journals.
Dr. Valentina Divocha research interest is in biological basis for anti-protein influenza therapy, role-related trypsin-like proteinases and their inhibitors in a sequence of actions in cells influenza A and B viruses, development of methods for the preparation of enzymes inhibiting their study of tl blocking of hemagglutinin of the influenza virus in vitro end in vivo, Justify the receipt and develop biotechnology of the antiviral drug and antiproteinases vaccines for humans, role of proteolytic enzymes in human blood and preparation of an antiviral dry from the waste of the gamma-globulin industry.
