Dr. Hala Abdel Wahab is currently working as an Associate Professor of Plant Pathology in the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She obtained her Ph.D. from Paris-Sud University, France, in 2006. She completed her Postgraduate diploma (D.R.U.) in Institute National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INSAT), France (2000-2001) and B.Sc in Agronomy Science-Plant Pathology at Ain Shams University, Egypt (1993-1997). She has achieved many publications, one patent, and 2 grants. She serves as an Editorial Board member and reviewer for some scientific publication Journals. She has participated in various national and international conferences and also gives copious presentations in her specialty.
Dr. Hala Abdel Wahab’s research is focused on the molecular aspects of plant pathogens especially for early diagnosis, rapid detection, pathogen identification, plant protection and genomic analysis.
