Dr. Luciana Maia is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Molecular Biology at the Federal Technological University of Parana (UTFPR), Brazil since 2007. She received her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Federal University of Parana (2006), Master's degree in Microbiology (1998) and a degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Londrina (1995). She obtained research fellowship from Productivity grant CNPq (2008-2011) and Araucaria Foundation. She also served as an editorial board member and reviewer for international journals. She is working as a member of the Area Advisory Committee of Fundaçao Araucaria.
Dr. Luciana Maia research interest is focused on General and Medical Microbiology, Food Microbiology and Biotechnology.
