Department of Food Hygiene & Technology
Dr. Naim Deniz AYAZ is currently is working as a professor of the department of food hygiene & technology at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Turkey. He a vice president of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Livestock, General Directorate of Food and Control, Risk Assessment Department, Commission of Contaminants, Turkey. He received his Ph.D. in food hygiene & technology from the Ankara University in 2008. He is an executive board member of REEV-Med (Association Mediterranean Network of Establishments for Veterinary Education), an expert of the VEDEK (Association for Evaluation & Accreditation of Education Institutions & Programs of Veterinary Medicine) and editorial and advisory board member of various international scientific journals. Between 2011 and 2016, he served as Vice Dean of Kırıkkale University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He is an author and coauthor for many of the scientific articles.
Dr. Naim Deniz AYAZ’s research interests are food microbiology, characterization of food-borne pathogens, bacteriophages, bio control of pathogens, bacterial antibiotic resistance and molecular methods.
