Dr. Fatima Lizeth Gandarilla is a full-time researcher in Institute of Biotechnology, UNAL, Mexico. She received her Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, U.A.N.L in 2013 and Postdoctoral from Genomic Biotechnology Center, National Polytechnic Institute, 2016. She published nine articles in refereed journals and these are indexed in the Journal Citation Reports. She has participated as a co-Director of six undergraduate theses, as well as the publication of 23 extensive reports in national conferences and 2 in international congresses, 8 abstracts in international conferences and national congresses. She also worked as a speaker in 15 congresses.
Dr. Fatima Lizeth Gandarilla current research interest focused on the control of Aedes aegypti through the use of entomopathogenic fungi and the production of spores of various species of Trichoderma for the control of phytopathogenic fungi, as well as the use of essential oils for the same purpose.
