Yoshiki Oshida is an Advisor, Research Promotion Division, Waseda University, Tokyo. He was also an Adjunct Full Professor at San Francisco School of Dentistry, University of California and Professor Emeritus at Indiana University, USA.
Yoshiki pursued his Ph.D. in Department of Materials Science, College of Science and Eng., Waseda University, Tokyo. He obtained Post-Doctoral Fellow from Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Syracuse University, Syracuse NY. He was a research fellow at National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST). He is appointed as President of Japan Orthodontic Program Society.
Yoshiki acts as a consultant for many organizations. He is a certified translator at Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. He gained many awards and honors like Indiana University Professor Emeritus, Editorial Review Board of Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry etc. He is a member of many service organizations, attended many symposiums like Oral Implantology Symposium, Japan and The American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Chicago IL etc. He has given more than 200 oral presentations and poster presentations, more than 100 invited lectures, at Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Canada, Turkey, Japan, and the USA, more than 150 conference abstracts publications and more than 100 publications.
His research interests include Non-destructive fatigue damage assessment, Biomaterials, Superplasticity, Superelasticity, Implantology, Surface modification, Pain management.
