Dr. Jinsung Wang is a faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, USA. He undertook his PhD at Arizona State University and received postdoctoral training at the Penn State University. He has done research involving issues related to cognitive aspects of motor control in healthy elderly and individuals with Parkinson's disease.
Dr. Jinsung Wang is interested in research questions, such as how movement information is stored, represented and retrieved in the brain, and how such information is transferred between the two brain hemispheres. He is also interested in investigating other issues involving observational learning, handedness, the effect of perception on motor learning, etc. He investigates these motor control/learning issues with various populations including healthy young and older adults, individuals with Parkinson’s disease and stroke survivors.
