Dr. Giorgio Pompa is a Vice-president of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. He is also serving as Director of the Implant-Prosthetic Unit at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Sciences, “Sapienza” University of Rome, Idoneity for Full Professor, Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Sciences, “Sapienza” University of Rome and Director of the Master in Oral Implantology at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Sciences. He published more than 150 publications on international and national peer-reviewed journals and proceeding at national and international congresses. He is a researcher for many dental implants and biomaterials industries (Straumann, Zimmer, Intralock, Botiss).
Dr. Giorgio Pompa’s research areas include oral implantology, head and neck cancer, biomaterials and prosthodontics.
