Dr. Barbara Cvikl is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Periodontology at Medical University of Vienna, Austria. She obtained her DMD from University Clinic of Dentistry at Medical University of Vienna, Austria. She is currently performing a series of in vitro investigation in collaboration with the University of Bern. She also has investigated the effects of various toothpaste extracts on cell survival and behavior.
Dr. Barbara Cvikl is interested in the fields of Cell culture (oral fibroblasts, dental pulp cells), Dental materials e.g. bleaching materials, cements, composites, dentifrices, Endodontics, Erosion and Laser Dentistry.
