Dr. Hwang is a professor of Graduate Institute of natural Products, Chang Gung University and a dean of College of Human Ecology, Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Dr. Hwang received his Ph.D. in pharmacology at National Taiwan University, Taiwan. His research interests include inflammopharmacology, innate immunity, phytopharmacology and signal transduction. He has published close to 260 research papers.
