Dr. Abubaker ME. Sidahmed is working as a Professor in the Department of Pathology and laboratory Medicine at University of Calgary, Canada. He received his MD, MSc and PhD from university of Toronto, Canada. He is a member of Canadian society of Immunology, CAN/VAC (Canadian Network for Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics and American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), etc. He has authored a book chapter, numerous abstracts and articles.
Dr. Abubaker ME. Sidahmed’s research interest includes host immune response to viral infection, particularly influenza, West Nile virus and HIV, Gene expression and age, SNPs genotyping and Conditional and conventional knockout mice generation and characterization, chemokine’s roles in host immune response against viral infection, siRNA artificial control of cytokine and chemokine genes expression and HLA and disease association.
