Dr. Darwish is currently working as a professor in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology Department, University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan . . She completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology from King College, University of London, UK. She also worked as a Dean of School of Pharmacy in 2014-2016 leading the School to get the International ACPE (The Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education) certification- 2016 thus becoming the first School to get it in Jordan and one of the few accredited in the world outside America. She has good experience in antibiotic resistance, drug development, registration and GMP implementation in addition to administration position. She is a member of international and national organizations. She has published articles in reputable journals. She also guided Ph.D. and M.Sc. students for their project work. She has one Jordan patent. She has participated in various international and national conferences and gave presentations. She serves as an editorial board member and reviewer of some scientific international journals.
