Dr. Reda Ahmed Abdel-Maged Bayoumi is currently working as a professor in Department of Botany and Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Madinet Nasr, Cairo, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology (2000) from Al-Azhar University, Egypt. He completed his M.Sc. (1997) in Microbial Pollution, and B.Sc. (1991) in Microbiology Al-Azhar University, Egypt. He has a more than 10 years of work experience in relevant field. He was supervisor and evaluator of M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis, scientific projects in deferent Egyptian Universities. He was awarded a Young scientists Award by the FEMS Czech Republic 2003 and Scientific Award in Taif University 2012, 2013 and 2014. He has published articles and books in national and international journals. He has participated in international and national conferences and gave presentations. He serves as an editorial board member of scientific journals.
Prof. Reda Ahmed Abdel-Maged Bayoumi’s research interest is in the Microbial Biotechnology, Bacteriology, Microbial Enzyme Biotechnology, Applied Microbiology, Crude Oil Bioremediation, and Microbiology.
