Dr. Asim Kumar Basak is a Professor and Head of the Department of Physiology, Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research, India. He Completed BSc, MSc and PhD in Physiology at Calcatta University. He publishes full 22 papers in scientific publication journals. He Awarded the Young Scientist Award entitled “B B Memorial Research Award for 1998 in the 10th Annual conference of PSI held in BHU, Varanasi in 1998. Best Research Paper Presentation Award on the research paper presented in the 8th Annual conference of PSI held in Vidyasagar University, Midnapur, Wbi in 1996, Best Presentation Award on the research paper entitled” Cardio-rectal reflex: Role of neurotransmitter” in the 7th Annual conference of PSI held in DIPAS, Delhi in 1995 and Awarded Subha Mukherjee Memorial Award by Physiological Society of India during 28th Annual conference of PSI in Midnapore College (Autonomous), WB on 18th Nov.17 for scientific contribution.
