Dr. Mehmood Ali Noor works in the Key Laboratory of Crop Physiology and Ecology at the Institute of Crop Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China. He completed his studies at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Faisalabad, Pakistan and he previously worked as a Researcher in the Department of Agriculture Extension and Rural Sociology at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, from January 2015 to March 2016.
Dr. Mehmood Ali Noor research aim is to attain maximum nutrient use efficiency with a high harvest index by evaluating nitrogen remobilization mechanism during the post-silking period in high-density maize, thus leading to sustainable agriculture. Being an agronomist, his research focus is centralized in crop cultivation and physiology with an emphasis on nitrogen nutrition evaluation in maize crops. He published numerous articles, worked as Editorial Board Member in National and International journals.
Dr. Mehmood Ali Noor's research interests include agronomy, crop physiology, stress physiology, seed physiology, high crop efficiency, nutrient use efficiency, and maize photosynthesis.
