Dr. Shadia M. Abdel-Aziz is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Microbial Chemistry, National Research Centre, Egypt. She has obtained her Ph.D. in Bacteriology from Cairo University, Egypt. She has attended 10 international conferences and 8 workshops in national and international level. She has supervised number of post graduate students for different subjects in Microbiology and Enzymology. She is serving as an Editorial board member and reviewer for number of international journals. She has authored 5 international books, 11 chapters and more than 70 research articles were published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Shadia’s research interest includes ​production of novel enzymes and polysaccharides based on utilization of waste materials to improve the environment, bacterial stress factors for production of bioactive substances with antimicrobial potential, and biological control for protection of economically crops.
