Dr. Laila Naher’s research field focus on Mycology and Plant Pathology. The main aspects is for fungal isolation and identification as well as identification of biocontrol agent such as Trichoderma species for management of plant diseases. Besides that, understanding the gene that involved either as plant defence response or biocontrol process against the pathogen in interaction between pathogen-plant-biocontrol and pathogen-biocontrol agent provide to identify superlative fungal agent for disease suppression as well as deliver the insight feature at molecular level between the interactions. Furthermore, the composting or biofungicides development using most promising fungal agent involved for sustainable crop production and maintain green environment.
