Dr. Teruya-Feldstein Julie is a Professor of Pathology at Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai Health System, at New York. She is Completed her Fellowship and Residency at National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, MD. She is a board certified pathologist and provides diagnostic expertise on hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma, leukemia, myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative and plasma cell neoplasms, to clinical colleagues and patients. She serves as an Editorial Board and Reviewer for some scientific publication Journals. She has published more than 170 papers in International scientific publications.
Dr. Feldstein’s is interested in the fields of hematologic malignancies, with studies designed to improve treatments for patients using targeted therapies and hematopoietic transplantation. She is an active member in the Clinical Research Program, serving as an investigator on nearly 80 clinical trials and protocols as the reference expert hematopathologist. She participated on the Institutional Therapeutic Response Review Committee, and served on the Institutional Review Board for five years. Research collaborations span the local NY, national and international levels including: Columbia, Albert Einstein, Cornell NYP, Cold Spring Harbor, Mount Sinai, Beth Israel and Brigham & Women’s, Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston, UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas TX, MD Anderson, Canada, and Spain.
