Dr. Catresa G Meyers is a Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Temple University, United States. She received her Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law and Master of Science in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University, United States. She has clerked for the Common Pleas Court of Philadelphia – Criminal Division. In addition, she worked in the private sector in the area of pharmaceutical litigation, while teaching Continuing Legal Education courses on the CSI Effect and its impact on jury trials. Prior to law school, she worked as therapist and behavioral consultant in the child welfare system.
Dr. Catresa G Meyers is interested in the intersection of law and psychology in the areas human trafficking, sexual abuse and victimology. She recently published a novel that explores the issue of child sexual abuse and the foster care system.
