Dr. Robert Edward Garfield is presently working as a Director of Arizona Women’s Research Center in St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and also a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, United States. He has received his Ph.D. in Physiology from University of Pennsylvania. He is the supervisor for several graduate students within the Graduate Program in Health Sciences. He has the membership in several scientific societies and professional organizations.he has received number of honors for his research excellence. He is serving as a reviewer for number of scientific journals. He has authored 337 articles, 3 books and 680 abstracts published in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Robert Edward Garfield’s research interest includes uterine contractility associated with term and preterm labor, Cervical function in pregnancy, Postpartum hemorrhage, vascular smooth muscle contractility and Pregnancy from conception to delivery.
