Dr. Maria Assunta Bevilacqua is presently working as Associate Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology at University of Naples Federico II, Italy. She is a Member of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She is responsible for a scientific collaboration with CEINGE Advanced Biotechnology on the research program: Screening of chemicals for protective action against damage to DNA caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation UVB. She has many publications in refereed journals and has authored two books and a book chapter.
Dr. Maria Assunta Bevilacqua’s research interests include the molecular mechanisms of natural compounds as anticancer drugs.
