Dr. Purohit Viswas is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Plasma Physics at Alliance University, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics at University of Pune, in 2007. He held several positions during his teaching career. He received many awards recently National Record for developing lightest autonomous robot in India (Limca Book of Records 2014). He has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Purohit Viswas’s research interest focuses on cold plasma system design & development, applications and plasma induced deposition/modifications of surfaces; nanomaterial synthesis; PC based interfacing, controlling of electronic circuits and microrobotics; stress induction and failure analysis of packaged semiconductor devices like HEMT/HBT and Scanning Electron Microscopy, Focused Ion Beam, Reactive ion etching Raman, Photoluminescence.
