Dr. Pei-Chun Liao is currently working as an Associate Professor of Department of Life Science, National Taiwan Normal University. He worked as an Associate Professor at Department of Biological Science and Technology, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (2009-2012). He worked in fields of population genetics and molecular evolution and with broad interesting in local adaptation, gene evolution and the adaptive character shift, evolutionary interaction between plants and microorganisms, and plant speciation and hybridization. He published many articles in international journals.
Dr. Pei-Chun Liao research is mainly focused on Phylogeography of East Asian plants, Diversification rate shift and local adaptation of plants in the continental islands, Gene evolution and the adaptive character shift, Evolutionary interaction between plants and microorganisms, Plant speciation and hybridization, Primate evolution and demographic history of Formosan rock macaque.
