Dr. Yuebing Zheng is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also associated with Materials Science and Engineering Program, Texas Materials Institute, Center for Nano- and Molecular Science, and Center for Electrochemistry at UT Austin. He joined UT Austin in the Fall of 2013 after three years postdoctoral research at the University of California. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2010.
Dr. Yuebing Zheng research findings have been recognized with awards such as the 2014 Beckman Young Investigator Award from the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation, the 2014 Graduate School Alumni Society Early Career Awards from the Pennsylvania State University and so on. He has many publications in peer reviewed journals.
