Dr. Weihai Ni is working as a Professor in the Division of i-Lab at Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, China. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University China and Ph.D. degree in physics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was a postdoctoral research associate at University of Vigo, Spain and was also an Alexander von Humboldt fellow in the photonics and optoelectronics group of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany.
Dr. Weihai Ni’s research interests mainly focus on single-particle optical microscopic studies on plasmonic properties of nanostructures, theoretical modeling of the plasmonic effects, and development of photonic and optoelectronic devices using plasmonic nanostructures.
