This is Qiong Chen from the Navigation College of Jimei University. I obtained my PhD degree from the College of Transport and Communications of Shanghai Maritime University. My research focuses on green shipping, maritime policy, shipping big data, and route optimization. I have published multiple articles in mainly premier journals, including Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment and Maritime Policy Management. I have successively participated in many projects that gained research grants including two granted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one by the Ministry of Transport of China. In addition, I am also active in academia-industry collaboration. I am actively engaged in professional services for the research community. I provide reviewing service for multiple journals such as Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment and Maritime Policy Management. I also chaired or co-chaired several academic sessions. Besides, I'm a member of The International Forum on Climate Change Adaptation Planning for Port, Transportation Infrastructure, and the Arctic (CCAPPTIA)
