Dr. Paula Ioana Moraru is currently Assistant Lecturer at USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Agriculture, Romania. Previously she worked as Research Engineer at USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Agriculture, Romania. She did her PhD and Master Degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj – Napoca, Romania.
Dr. Paula Ioana Moraru received many certificates and honours like Graduation Certificate "Trainer", APM Cluj, 2010, etc. She published around 120 papers in BDI & ISI journals, wrote 4 books and attended many international symposiums, of which she was the lead author for 28. She is specialized in soil tillage conservation and its effect on soil organic matter, water management and carbon sequestration.
Dr. Paula Ioana Moraru research interests include Agrotechnics, herbology and soil management; technique experimentally and analysis of variance; soil conservation systems for a sustainable agriculture, anti-erosion systems, minimum soil tillage, no-tillage, carbon sequestration; integrated control of weeds and correct use of herbicides; rural development and climatic changes.
