Dr. George K. Paraskevas working as an Associate Professor of Anatomy in the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. He gained full qualification as a specialist in orthopaedic surgery. He received the Medical degree from Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, attained the Ph.D.
Dr. George K. Paraskevas is serving as an Editorial Board Member of 141 international medical journals and supervisor and member of the advisory board of 15 dissertations and also a reviewer for several journals. He published over 160 papers in international medical journals and is an author of several textbooks of anatomy.
Research interests include Surgical anatomy and embryology of gastrointestinal tract, Congenital anomalies of bones and muscles, Entrapment syndromes of nerves and neuropathies, the Variational anatomy of a vascular system, Trauma and surgery, History of Anatomy, Anatomical nomenclature, Anthropometric studies
