Dr. Dorina Lauritano is currently working as an Assistant professor in the school of medicine in the University of Milano”Bicocca’’and she is associated with the Oral Medicine sections at Dental department and a section of dentistry for oncologic patients at Dental department, S. Gerardo Hospital. She specialized in the field of Orthodontics (1999) and completed the degree in Dentistry (1988) in the University of Milano “Statale”.
Dr. Dorina Lauritano has developed studies on mucosal diseases in leukemic children, and she won the prize of Monza and Brianza Foundation in 2006. She is deal with research about bimolecular aspects of precancerous pathologies of oral mucosae, with focus on the role of MAPKinasi. Her researches have had Ministerial funding (COFIN 2005, 2006, 2007). She is an author of over 166 publications on national and international journals (1403 citations, H-index 23 Scopus), (559 citations, H-index 13 WOS).
Dr. Dorina Lauritano’s research interest includes Oral medicine, oral biology, Oral Care, Oral Health, Dental Health, molecular biology, MAPkinases in the precancerous lesions of oral mucous membranes.
