Dr. Tahra Eltayeb Elobeid Abdel Khalig is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Human Nutrition Program in Department of Health Sciences at Qatar University. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy studies in Food Science and Technology at University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria in 2003. He worked as adjuant professor at University of North Dakota, USA. He received Outstanding Research Award and also International Award for Best Conference Paper from Central Connecticut State University. He is a member of various National Committees at Qatar University and other Professional institutes. He attended many Conferences.
Dr. Tahra Eltayeb Elobeid Abdel Khalig's research interest includes Functional foods, Analysis of Traditional and Indigenous Foods, Food Product development, Micronutrient fortification.
