Dr. M. Joyce Nirmala is presently working as a young scientist under the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. She received her Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from VIT University for her work on”Design, Formulation, and Characterization of microemulsion system for solubility enhancement of selected drugs”.
She has many grants and awards for her research and has life time membership in “Innovare Academic Sciences Group”. She published several research articles and editorials in the field of Nanotechnology. She attended many scientific conferences and acting as an Editorial Board Member for many Journals worldwide.
Dr. M. Joyce Nirmala’s research interests include Nano-biomedicine and Nano-pharmaceutics. Novel drug delivery systems, antibiotic drug resistance, drug pre-formulations and kinetics, Nano-bio interaction studies, Nano-toxicity and cancer medicine are some of the key areas.
